Overview

The Pro Shop Attendant ensures that the inside components of golf operations are smoothly running. This specifically relates to customer check in, customer booking, pro shop cleanliness, along with other responsibilities to maintain a professional Pro Shop such as stocking, inventory, order assistance etc.

Employees receive golf privileges with free green fees any time except weekend mornings.

Essential Responsibilities

Meets and greets all guests/members in a friendly and professional manner Manages tee times through point of sale, receiving times and checking in golfers Accepts phone calls Retail sales of pro shop inventory Maintains good hygiene and reports to shifts on time Opening and closing of Pro Shop Stocking and cleaning of pro shop products and inventory Coordinates with tee sheet to ensure cart availability Communicates with Head Golf Professional as well as other management about on course updates or problems Work with and help Head Golf Professional execute association tournaments, outside tournaments, fitting days, clinics etc. Other duties assigned by manager

Qualifications

Day time, evenings, weekend and some holiday availability Strong customer service and communication skills Experience in retail sales and cash handling preferred, but not required Proficiency in basic math and retail math Ability to operate a cash register and POS system

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
