SummaryThe Processing Lead is responsible for daily throughput of the process flow with a purpose to meet weekly production demand. Ensuring the product is made safely and within quality expectations. Collaborate with cross functions to drive department metrics. Assist the Processing Supervisor and fill in during their absence as needed.Responsibilities

• Actively promote the culture of safety throughout your shift. Mentor and coach employees to maintain a culture of zero.
• Become fully trained in most Operator role jobs throughout Processing and be prepared to cover gaps within staffing as skills allow.
• Leads and trains employees performing job functions throughout Processing. Assists in facilitating Operator training and development programs.
• Assists in creating a positive and supportive work environment. Establishes a culture of teamwork and communication.
• Own process flow, collaborating with department owners, to ensure external and internal schedules enable operations to keep to daily and weekly production schedule.
• Performs a variety of SAP system administration activities. Both consist of physical movements within the system and auditing operator execution. Coach and/or train as necessary.
• Develops, organizes, and maintains documentation relating to processes, forms, and workflows.
• Assist Operators with troubleshooting equipment or workflow issues. If not quickly resolved, escalate issues to the right resources and continue working on a solution.
• Assist in investigations of root causes and corrective/preventive actions for any process nonconformance issues.
• Be involved with conducting both 5s and sanitary floor audits. Influence the team to prevent reoccurring findings.
• Assist, review and sign off on necessary paperwork throughout your shift. Escalating any problems with documentation to your supervisor.
• Thoroughly follow and enforce all GMPs, GDPs, & any other company policies in place while correcting the team upon findings of noncompliance.
• Fill in for Processing Supervisor during their absence - assuming Supervisor responsibility which includes completing the daily shift report.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively orally and in writing to convey information to others.
• Good functional knowledge of Word, Excel, and other computer related skills.
• Work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
• Bring others together and perform activities to reconcile differences.
• Manage one\'s own time and that of others.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a relevant field with at least 1 year showcasing leadership responsibilities.
