You are:
The Procurement Practice Senior Analyst within the Industrial Operations Practice will utilize their sourcing and supplier management experience to help customers drive tangible results. In this capacity, you will help with the development of strategic category plans which ensure optimal productivity as well as participate in procurement activities which address client metrics and contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Procurement Category Senior Analyst\xe2\x80\x99s also have responsibility for coordinating the execution & delivery of sourcing projects to achieve cost savings for the client.
The Work:
Identify cost savings projects across multiple Manufacturing spend sub-categories including: MRO, Facilities Services, Technical Services and Equipment, Packaging & related in-direct spend
Collect data and required information to perform analysis that will contribute to the establishment and progress of procurement strategies and projects
Interface with customer stakeholders and project teams on progress, barriers and new opportunities as well as skills in dealing with the customer on normal day-to-day activities
Support total cost of ownership analyses for the evaluation of continuous cost improvement projects
Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to support sourcing and category management and other procurement-related activities
Support sales & business development, spend & contract analysis and category planning activities
Assist in the development of customer reports for category specific savings results
Perform numerous problem-solving functions to ensure customer satisfaction with Accenture\xe2\x80\x99s services
Develop good working relationships with customer stakeholders at both the corporate and business unit level
Support supply market research for your relevant categories
Here\'s What You Need:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in sourcing, procurement and supplier management or supply chain consulting or industry environment related to MRO spend (ex. General Industrial Supplies, Electrical Supplies, Power Transmission and Bearings, Safety Supplies, Lab Supplies, Janitorial Supplies, Pipe Valves and Fittings, OEM spare parts, Equipment, etc.) with a demonstrated track record of delivering results
Minimum of 2 years experience in spreadsheet software (e.g. Excel) and presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint)
Bonus Points:
Post-graduate degree preferred
Experience working with customers and suppliers
Experience with Industrial Operations related spend categories including one or more of the following \xe2\x80\x93 MRO, Facilities Services, Technical Services and Equipment, Packaging or related in-direct spend categories
Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing and or category management
Professional Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
