eBay, Inc. seeks Product Manager 1 - Technical in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Design and manage the design and implementation of a customer-centric payments platform that meets growing and evolving global as well as local market needs. Work closely with User Experience research and design leads, functional and regional business leads, and other product leads to identify and build core capabilities while improving the utility of capabilities common to multiple products. Define product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for tax at eBay, complete with project checkpoints to ensure quality, integration, and timeline of deliverables. Create short and long-term KPI scorecards and dashboards for review with the senior leadership teams and ensure measurable achievements and critical metrics are defined, tracked, and aligned to company goals and objectives. Translate product strategy into detailed specifications, make functional and user interface design tradeoffs and manage product launches. Act as the voice of the customer in platform design sessions while gathering direct feedback from customers on the future of the platform. Translate customer requirements into generic platform capabilities that are scalable to multiple global markets. Create frictionless experiences through platform capabilities such that customer acquisition, engagement, and retention increase.

Minimum Requirements: Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base Salary: $182,333-262,900 per annum. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
