Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Product Manager for AdTech Platforms within the streaming PayTV domain (e.g., Dish, Sling), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the advertising technology ecosystem to optimize revenue generation and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the strategic development, implementation, and management of advertising technology solutions that enable targeted and effective advertising capabilities across various streaming platforms/devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive AdTech strategy aligned with business goals and industry trends for all the Dish Video Pay TV products
  • Define a roadmap for AdTech platform enhancements, innovations, and integrations to support advertising monetization efforts
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and marketing teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute AdTech solutions that enhance targeting, personalization, and campaign effectiveness
  • Define clear product requirements, user stories, and user cases for AdTech platform features and improvements
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay up-to-date with emerging AdTech trends to drive continuous innovation
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Content teams to understand advertiser needs and market demands, ensuring the AdTech platform aligns with customer and business goals
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure AdTech solutions adhere to industry regulations and data privacy standards
  • Analyze data from AdTech platforms to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing ad targeting, placements, capabilities and performance
  • Monitor key metrics related to ad impressions, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue generation, and make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of AdTech solutions with existing Pay TV platforms/devices
  • Manage API integrations with external partners for third-party data enrichment, ad serving, and measurement
  • Advocate for user-centric design and lead initiatives to improve the user experience related to advertising, ensuring that ad placements are non-intrusive and relevant to the viewers
  • Develop and deliver regular reports to stakeholders on the performance of AdTech platforms, including insights on ad engagement, revenue growth, and market trends
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party AdTech vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure their products align with the overall product strategy
  • Create product documentation, user guides, and training materials for internal teams, ensuring a clear understanding of AdTech platform features and capabilities
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field or MBA preferred

Experience: Proven experience (2-5 years) in product management within AdTech, digital advertising, or related industries

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of AdTech platforms, programmatic advertising, and media sales landscape
  • Proficient in data analysis and using analytics tools to drive insights and decisions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to advertising and data privacy

Salary Range

Compensation: $103,000.00/Year - $140,000.00/Year
