Job Description

Job Purpose: The Production Associate is responsible for providing support to the Melt/Spin and Finishing Department, ensuring that the production and efficiency of the line meets operational standards.

Job Duties:

\xc2\xb7 Learn and gain a clear understanding of the finishing department\'s operations.

\xc2\xb7 Undertake to learn and function effectively in multiple positions within the Melt/Spin and Finishing department.

\xc2\xb7 Assist the Supervisor in supporting team members and ensuring that daily goals are communicated in a timely manner.

\xc2\xb7 Provide coverage for various jobs during break times and as needed.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.

Requirements

Education /Training:

\xc2\xb7 High School Diploma / GED

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 1-year previous manufacturing experience.

\xc2\xb7 1-year experience in a lead role a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to safety policies and practices.

Skills / Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Manufacturing machinery and equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Employee must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to stand for 12 hours shifts on concrete floors.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to move quickly from one process to the other.

\xc2\xb7 Good hand/eye coordination for staple process.

\xc2\xb7 High level of teamwork orientation.

\xc2\xb7 Average to above average communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Must pass post-off background check and drug test.
