Production Technicians work on a variety of equipment including: presses, mills, casters, shredders, ovens, annealers, and/or slitters. Production Technician duties include:\xc2\xb7 Adherence to all safety protocols\xc2\xb7 Responsible for ensuring that product is continuously flowing while visually inspecting to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.\xc2\xb7 Operating forklifts\xc2\xb7 Monitoring machine calibrations and adjusting as required\xc2\xb7 Set up and tear down machines safely\xc2\xb7 Maintain Quality control levels as set by Golden Aluminum.\xc2\xb7 Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and procedures.Production Technicians need to:\xc2\xb7 Pass pre-employment drug test based on federal law (includes marijuana).\xc2\xb7 Work any shift (2x2x3 schedule), 12 hours per shifts, alternating day/nights every 6 weeks.\xc2\xb7 Have basic Microsoft computer skills and possess basic/fundamental math skills.\xc2\xb7 Work efficiently with minimal supervision.\xc2\xb7 Have strong attention to detail identifying defects and suggesting corrections.\xc2\xb7 Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.\xc2\xb7 Forklift experience is a plus.Because Golden Aluminum thrives on the power of diversity and is committed to an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive through a sense of belonging, respect, and contribution, we are committed to giving every qualified applicant and employee an equal opportunity.PIffa21b09a710-8722-35539422
