Continental Van Lines has multiple openings for movers/packers/drivers with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude! These full-time positions are open immediately and available to candidates with and without experience. Continental Van Lines is a family owned moving company entering its 70th year in Alaska. Physical Job Requirements
- Working as a professional packer/mover/driver can require frequent lifting and carrying of heavy boxes and/or furniture. Every day is different; however this is an active career and most days require a combination of the following.
- Climbing stairs or ramps while carrying heavy items is a daily occurrence.
- Kneeling or Crouching to wrap furniture is frequent.
- A strong back, shoulders, and knees will help you be successful while carrying, wrapping, or loading heavy items.
- Extending hands and arms in various directions while holding and turning heavy objects around corners is common while making deliveries.
