Job Summary:

The Oklahoma Arthritis Center Program Manager serves as a resource to the Executive Director of Clinical Operations and Strategy assisting with analytics, strategic planning, process improvement, business development, operational support, and creation of business plans. In addition, the Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Junior Program Managers within specific protocols. Data and information utilized in the development of business plans includes but is not limited to, market assessments, service line forecasts, population growth reports, community health status profiles, competitor market positioning, profits and loss statements, and budgeted expenditures.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides support as assigned to Executive Director of Clinical Operations and Strategy for special projects / initiatives in their areas of responsibilities.
  • Champions the ongoing design, redesign, and improvement of operational processes to enhance organization success.
  • Supports clinical, operational, service, and team excellence initiatives as assigned.
  • Utilizes a strong business acumen in critically analyzing and creating business development proposals.
  • Provides business development financial modeling for the Oklahoma Arthritis Center.
  • Analyzes financial and strategic performance of each existing and future joint ventures, strategic alliances, and partnerships to support management in maximizing performance and determining growth opportunities.
  • Creates and evaluates comprehensive competitor profiles, market share reports, population growth profiles, market segment evaluation reports, key services reports, and community health status profiles for markets of interest to critically evaluate smart growth planning opportunities.
  • Designs, develops, and completes professional ad-hoc written reports and/or presentations regarding growth production line matters for administration.
  • Develops ad-hoc consultant-style reports and business proposals for each business development opportunity.
  • Consults with Oklahoma Arthritis Center Professionals and with outside consultants regarding optimal structure of business development opportunities.
  • Makes decisions on projects as directed by the Executive Director of Clinical Operations and Strategy, and brings solutions and results to administration for their evaluation.

Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or related areas.
  • Minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in program management.
  • Knowledge of contemporary healthcare management issues through recent training or appropriate certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience utilizing MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to sit, perform data entry and view computer screen for long periods at a time.
  • Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and biohazards.
  • Daily standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering.
  • May require lifting up to 50 pounds or more to transfer and/or turn patient with and without assistive devices.
Travel:
Travel may be required.

Scheduled Working Hours:
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. Hours may vary depending upon the needs of the position, department, and clinic.
