The Recreation Center Programs Division is looking for high-performing individuals to fill the part-time positions of Program Services Worker at the Provo City Recreation Center (320 W 500 N, Provo, UT). These are staff positions needed on a part-time basis.

Pay Rate: Starting at $11.00 per hour. Successfully performing employees are eligible for a $0.50 per hour pay increase every six months up to $13.00 per hour.

Essential Duties:

Perform general duties in the following areas: front counter, concessions, crowd control, special events, fitness area attendance, and child watch.

Perform cashiering, food service, childcare, and related duties

Assist office staff as needed and perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements: Sufficient experience and/or training which would demonstrate an ability to successfully perform the duties of the job.

Hours: Schedule varies based on department need between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday - Saturday, with a maximum of 25 hours per week.

Physical/Environmental Factors: This work requires walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and sitting for extended periods of time at a computer terminal. Applicant must have physical strength and agility to perform the work.

Pre-employment Testing: Prior to appointment, applicants will be required to successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background investigation. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Individuals with unsatisfactory drug screening results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six months.
