job summary:
The Project Coordinator will work onsite at Mettawa, Illinois for a large national corporation. This role will entail project tracking, reporting, communicating with vendors, submittals, and will directly support the Project Manager. A background in engineering is a must, with previous project experience also required. All interested apply today!

• New Product Introduction or New Product Development management experience is required.

• Candidates preferred to be local to Illinois for either hybrid/onsite work or fully remote, but remote workers outside of the state are allowed for the right candidate.

responsibilities:

• Establishes and assembles project teams, and coordinates activities.

• Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis.

• Performs economic and other analysis as required to achieve the best least cost.

• Manages critical milestones throughout the project to ensure the best customer experience.

• Support the release of New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or New Product Development (NPD).

• Incorporate requested changes / additions in to NPI/NPD requirements to align with Innovation objectives.

• Facilitate Cross-Divisional discussions to obtain buy-in and alignment with proposed new requirements.

• Present regular status of progress to Enterprise leadership.

• Achieve formal approval and release of NPI/NPD revision that incorporates all new requirements.

• Other project management related duties as required.

• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage one\'s time.

• Ability to keep information organised and confidential.

• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of NPI/NPD management experience.

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent training required.

• 2-4 years experience.
