Job Description

Children's Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Project Manager oversees multiple projects concurrently while managing and providing leadership support.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field. Minimum 5 years of project management experience; healthcare project management experience preferred. Process Improvement knowledge/experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through discipline. Ability to effectively communicate with different level managers within the organization. Must possess a high level of confidentiality. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, implementing, tracking and deliverables for assigned short-term and long-term initiatives and projects. Effectively lead project management activities from beginning to end. Develop detailed action plans, oversee project scopes, and perform other project management duties to support the implementation of various projects. Maintain all documents for projects to include files, spreadsheets and reports according to the scope of work. Identify key project resources and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate and document project plan, provide status updates throughout the project lifecycle. Create effective presentations for executive-level communications and facilitate meetings for clear objectives and outcomes. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities proactively. Ensure scope for all projects is in line with goals and that quality projects are delivered on time. Manage project management expectations effectively to accomplish collective goals and ensure that projects remain in line with operational goals. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
