What You Will Be Doing

-Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
-Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
-Oversee all onsite/offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
-Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
-Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses
-Select tools, materials and equipment; track inventory
-Meet contractual conditions of performance
-Review the work progress on daily basis
-Prepare internal/external reports relating to job status
-Plan ahead to prevent issues and resolve any emerging
-Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits/licenses
-Analyze, manage, mitigate risks
-Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

What You Need for this Position

-Proven working experience in construction management
-BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred
-Demonstrated ability to manage all financial aspects of projects
-Analytical skills to comprehend complex details of a project to fit the scope of work
-Problem solving skills to understand the root cause of issues as they arise to ensure successful outcomes
-Effective communication on and off the jobsite
-Precise attention to detail
-Response time fanatic
