Job Title: Project Manager II - Population Health - Dept. of Preventive Medicine

Job Summary: Assist clinical and community health care providers and investigators with clerical, administrative, clinical operations, and general programming in population health practice.

Education & Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in applicable job-related field and four (4) years of project manager and/or public health programming experience or equivalent combination of project manager education/experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Familiar with a variety of the field\'s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Ability to lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to head of a unit/department or the principal investigator of research projects or enterprises.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees all aspects of project, including scope of project.
  • Leads and directs the work of others.
  • Oversees community outreach and engagement.
  • Leads academic-community partnerships.
  • Interfaces with relevant parties to resolve problems, maintain progress, and maintain mutual interaction of respected parties to reduce the risk of failure and ensure success of project.
  • Oversees project plans and cost projections and approves revisions as appropriate; oversees the allocation of resources to ensure objectives are met.
  • Aligns project activities with organizational objectives; ensures project outcomes equate to organizational success.
  • Oversees key activities and ensures accuracy of project documents and reports.
  • Develops project plans and cost projections and makes revisions as appropriate; identifies and allocates resources and prioritizes tasks to ensure objectives are met.

Physical and Environmental Demands
