job summary:
A Project Specialist is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Arden Hills, MN area. This role involves implementing project management processes, optimizing procedures, and enhancing project performance metrics, while collaborating with multiple departments, utilizing technology, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, with a preference for PMP certification.

responsibilities:

• Analyze current systems and procedures, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

• Manage one or two product improvement or integration projects.

• Take responsibility for project deliverables, plans, status reports, and requirement documentation.

• Collaborate with multiple internal departments on project management and analysis efforts.

• Provide practical guidance to project managers and teams for achieving high project performance.

• Consolidate and refine project status for program-level and senior management reports.

• Drive process and requirement definition for the selection and use of project management technologies.

• Support project teams in using Microsoft Office Suite and other select technologies (e.g., AGILE or KANBAN).

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all quality requirements by building quality into all aspects of work.

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience with a Bachelor\'s degree.

Preferred:

• PMP Certified.
