Job Description


This position will develop formal and informal proposals (RFPs/RFIs). Writes, edits, and proofs questionnaire responses for finished proposals and plan designs. Coordinates distribution of proposal questions to appropriate matrix partners/ internal experts. Leads strategy meetings with the sales, underwriting, and legal departments as needed. Also responsible for functions related to production, library, data updates and distribution, and distribution of provider network, direct settlement, and other Americas-specific data to support any and all parts of the proposal, finalist, and sales process.Responsibilities:Produce customized RFP responses by client and segment (Japanese, OCONUS, Scholastic, B2G etc.) to deliver high quality RFPs that differentiate Cigna and lead us to win.Follow required P&Ps regarding storage and posting of completed proposals for easy team access.Enhance content ongoing to ensure alignment to our value proposition and any new products and capabilities.Ownership and maintenance of industry specific master benchmarking reports; distributing to Sales/CM upon request.Support our producer strategy through key broker house template mastery to deliver high quality RFP with efficiency across sales regions.Partner closely with other organizations to cross support Enterprise RFP and RFI production and align messaging.Ongoing process and procedure creation, improvement, and distribution to matrix partners.Develops strong matrix relationships on behalf of proposal team for SME engagement and content updates.Oversight and updating of shared SME list.Oversight of Americas RFP team KnowledgeXchange pages; updating as appropriate.Special projects as needed to support the Client Management and Sales teams.Qualifications:A bachelor\'s degree or higher is strongly preferred.Minimum of two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in similar position preferred.Exceptional communication skills, with a strong emphasis on writing ability required.Critical thinker who can quickly absorb large quantities of information and synthesize into cohesive messagingExceptional verbal communication skills, including ability to facilitate conference callsHigh degree of organizational ability and strong project management skillsStrong work ethic, with a drive to learn, collaborative spirit, and can-do/will-do attitudeCustomer focused, with a detail-oriented approach, and not afraid to take on a challengeProficient in Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge of Responsive/RFPIO/Qvidian RFP databases preferred.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 31 - 51 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
