From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is searching for a Cell Culture Associate to provide assistance in a cell culture laboratory to support protein expression and cell line generation.Employee Responsibilities:

• Assists with cell line maintenance and general molecular biology work
• Prepare solutions and culture media
• Handles multiple cell lines using aseptic techniques and perform cell culture maintenance, characterization (cell counts and viability), and various cell-based assays

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

• Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct weekly transfection/protein expression experiment.
• Provide general molecular biology support (plasmid preparation, PCR and cloning)

• Assistance in general lab task and supply management
• Work collaboratively with PBS team on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.

• Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice
• Appropriate documentation of all experimental results.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related science
• 1+ years of relevant lab experience with cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
