Anticipated End Date: 2024-11-18Position Title: Provider Network Manager Sr (US):Available Locations: New York NY, Middletown NY, Grande Prairie TX, Mason OH, Atlanta GAHours: Monday - FridayTravel: (Hybrid 1-2 days onsite per manager discretion)Position Overview:Develops the provider network through contract negotiations, relationship development, and servicing. Primary focus will be, but not limited to: contracting and negotiating Single Case Agreements. Typically works with the most complex providers. Complex providers may include, but are not limited to large institutional providers, large medical groups, value-based concepts, understanding and support. Contracts involve non-standard arrangements that require a high level of negotiation skills.How You Will Make an Impact:May work on projects impacting the business unit requiring collaboration with other key areas or serve on enterprise projects around network managementServes as key resource for other contracting staffWorks independently and requires high level of judgment and discretionMay work on projects impacting the business unit requiring collaboration with other key areas or serve on enterprise projects around network managementServes as a communication link between professional providers and the companyEnsure that network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialtiesConducts more complex negotiations and drafts documentsRequired Qualifications:Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in contracting, provider relations, provider servicing; experience should include prior contracting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Qualifications:Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to analyze dataTransplant or cellular immunotherapy contracting experienceCommercial, Medicare, and / or Medicaid contracting experienceStrong negotiation skills, critical thinking, analytical skills, and knowledge of contract languageFor candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $ 86,000 to $154,800Locations: New YorkIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
