Position Overview

Bridgeway is seeking a licensed psychiatrist, who shall provide a minimum of 10 hours of psychiatric time, face-to-face with consumers and/or team members, each week for a caseload of 56 consumers, increased on a pro-rated basis for larger caseloads. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises sound judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the PACT program. Participates in meetings with the Medical Director and other prescribers as scheduled.

PACT Psychiatrist Provides:

? Assess each service recipients stated concerns, mental illness symptoms and behavior, and prescribe appropriate medication

? Regularly review and document the service recipients\xe2\x80\x99 stated concerns, mental illness symptoms, as well as his or her response to prescribed medication(s) and treatment

? Monitor, treat, and document any medication side effects

? Participate in outreach contacts as needed

? The PACT team psychiatrist, or other appropriately licensed clinical professional as permitted by DMHAS, provides supervision to the team regarding medication administration and monitoring for all individuals served by the team.

? The PACT team psychiatrist provides supervision to the PACT team a minimum of once per week through the daily meeting process and through individual case conferences for specific service recipients.

? The psychiatrist completes a psychiatric evaluation for all new PACT service recipients and reviews and signs all initial, comprehensive and revised service plans

? On-site and off-site psychiatric services at a minimum of 10 hours per week for 56 individuals served per team (hours increased if caseload is increased, i.e., 14 hours per week for 72 individuals on the PACT team caseload)

Requirements:

Education and License:

? Licensed Psychiatrist, licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey

? 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience practicing medicine preferred
