Job Summary



Associates in Psychotherapy, LLC is a private psychotherapy practice established in 2011 by me, Sandra B. Tatroe, LCSW. To date, I have been the sole proprietor/practitioner of the business. I am looking to expand my practice to meet the increasing need for mental health services in a post-COVID environment. I would like to engage a practitioner who can assist me in keeping up with the demand and help to ensure that individuals seeking therapy can have swift access to quality care.

I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist for a 1099 position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. This role involves utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals while maintaining a supportive and safe environment.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including the use of ICD-9 codes. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients Employ behavior management techniques to assist clients in developing coping strategies and improving their overall mental health.

Qualifications



Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum 3 years experience, post licensure Individual malpractice insurance Access to WIFI, computer Valid licensure in good standing in CT Experience in providing therapy for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance use or other mental health issues preferred. Proficiency in medical documentation practices, including familiarity with ICD-9 coding. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current on best practices in psychotherapy.
