Rural Psychiatry Associates is currently recruiting for a Psychotherapist to join our team. Rural Psychiatry Associates is an independently owned psychiatric clinic that provides in person and telemedicine services to more than 250 practice sites throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Utah, Alaska and beyond.This is a unique and once in a lifetime professional opportunity for any candidate who is interested in the treatment of people of all ages in rural areas. Candidates with a rural background or history of treating patients in rural settings is desirable, although not a strict requirement.Candidates will be part of a comprehensive, close knit team comprised of psychiatric physicians, nurse practitioners, and physicians assistants, as well as trained psychotherapist its. The treatment model and approach to patient care of the company is to provide physician supervised, team oriented psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and psychotherapy. Candidates will be required to become part of the company\'s peer supervision and education program.The Psychotherapist will be responsible for:

  • Provide individual, marital, family or group psychotherapy services;
  • Select treatment methods which correlate to the age of the patient, the patient\'s diagnosis, symptoms and physician orders;
  • Identify significant changes in a patient\'s condition and take appropriate actions;
  • Facilitate family and patient involvement in the development of the treatment plan;
  • Provide appropriate services and care in accordance to the clients needs;
  • Maintain effective customer relationships and confidentiality;
  • Demonstrate courteous, professional and confident rapport with patient\'s and their families;
  • Obtain and document all required and pertinent patient information accurately and within established time frames;
  • Performs and documents evaluations according to standard operating procedures;
  • Demonstrate the ability to adjust workload to meet fluctuation in patient case load;
  • Serve on projects as delegated;
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Applicants must possess or be able to obtain licensure in the states you are practicing, which could include North Dakota, Minnesota, Utah and Alaska, or any other states where practice may be added, As well as the state in which you live. A minimum of three years of experience is preferred, but not required. EMDR and DBT Certifications are preferred, but not required.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
