Job Title: Public Finance Client LiasonLocation: Los AngelesWhat you\'ll do: As the Public Finance Client Liaison, you\'ll be responsible for optimizing the client onboarding process and supporting the group leader in executing internal team strategy for a team focused on originating municipal, nonprofit and affordable housing direct loans and bonds as well as letters of credit to support publicly issued bonds.This is primarily a liaison role between relationship managers, loan servicing, outside legal counsel and treasury management. You\'ll provide the leadership needed to drive performance with regard to service level standards, operational process management and client onboarding and support processes, as well as function productivity and efficiency.What we are looking for:Scope of responsibilities include, but aren\'t limited to manage the new client onboarding process and serve as the liaison between Public Finance and internal teams, including the Loan Admin/Closers, Specialty Finance Services (SFS), and Treasury Management on new and existing dealsGathers data to advance sale process and completes all required documentationAssists with sales and service administration and processing ensuring client experience is seamless and opportunities are identified and metCoordinate closing with loan closing department, clients and attorneysApplies deep expertise in bank products, processes and systems and effectively trouble shooting to ensure a high-quality client experienceServes as a daily escalation resource to ensure client expectations are met or exceededProvides oversight, monitoring, and reporting specific to assigned business group for regulatory remediationTracks implementation requests to keep the process on track with timelinesMaintains current client information on Bank CRM system/files to ensure client history is accurate and completeExercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given guidelinesWorks independently and regularly handles non-routine situationsBroader work or accountabilities may be assigned as neededQualificationsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree; graduate degree or training preferred plus 4 or more years of directly related experience in Banking processesIntermediate to advanced knowledge of bond financing documentationAdvanced to expert knowledge of general lending operations, including loan administration, treasury management, corporate trust and/or other commercial banking products and servicesKnowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practicesknowledge of deposit transaction activities, including item processing, exception processing, account analysis, and familiarity with compliance obligations and industry best practicesStrong verbal and writing skills for internal and external audiencesRequirementsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking, including understanding of bank products, services, and regulations, policies and procedures, with an emphasis in bond financing/lending, treasury management, credit facilities, client serviceIntermediate to advanced knowledge of online technology platforms, sales concepts, and banking regulationsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills requiredAbility to work independently with little supervisory oversightCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $114,900.00 - $141,859.00 for Los Angeles, CA.
