Apply now!Location: 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315:Position Summary:This role is responsible to assist the buying team maintaining procurement records to include purchase orders, billing, credits, deductions etc. Assist in purchasing and arranging for the timely delivery of products from assigned vendors while maintaining company standards.Heres what youll do:Maintain procurement records, prepare or verify documents, and compile data; receive and respond to a variety of routine requests by phone, in person or written correspondence.Maintain files and records of approval and delivery materials.Perform a variety of clerical duties including filing, copying, answering phones, responding to inquiries, creating or running reports as requested.May assist with the creation and tracking of billings, credits and vendor deductions.Research and address invoice exceptions to ensure timely payment to vendors.Support Assistant Buyer and end users with system questions and functionality.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Heres what youll need:High School Diploma; some college preferred.Two years general office experience, prior purchasing experience preferred. .Good written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills.Must have attention to detail, good data entry skills, and effective organization and prioritization skills.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel) required.Basic knowledge of procurement principles and skills preferred.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
