Seeking a positive, motivated, and adaptable early career scientist for a full-time 2nd shift opportunity. 4-day work week: Sun-Wed 2:00pm-10:30pm EST.

Employee Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Testing of drug product including Container Closure Integrity, Instron, Mass Extraction, HIAC, Volume, Moisture and Malvern
\xc2\xb7 Handling, and disposing of samples
\xc2\xb7 Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
\xc2\xb7 Accurately records test results and reports any quality anomalies
\xc2\xb7 Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
\xc2\xb7 Ensures superlative customer service to clients
\xc2\xb7 Participates in required training activities
\xc2\xb7 Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
\xc2\xb7 Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
\xc2\xb7 Detail oriented with a desire to do things right the first time
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\xc2\xb7 Desire to work in moderately physical role that requires much of the time standing
\xc2\xb7 Strong computer and organizational skills
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in chemistry or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience
\xc2\xb7 Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, 2nd shift role. Shift differential is included. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
