What We\'re Looking For The Quality Assurance Tester is an entry level position responsible for testing new computer software and hardware. This role works with software engineers and product owners to plan and execute tests that ensure software and hardware products meet expected requirements. Tests will consist of written instructions that are executed manually, in addition to some automated testing. Qualified candidates will have excellent writing skills, be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and have an interest in hardware and software engineering. Responsibilities

• Creating and managing test cases for various software and hardware products.
• Executing test cases for software features and hardware prototypes.
• Building and maintaining basic automated tests.
• Analyzing software specifications to create test cases which cover requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Maintaining test execution results and defect reports.
• Managing support cases that are escalated to engineering, and assisting tech support with trouble shooting steps.
• Ensuring testing environments are always in a valid, working state to facilitate ongoing manual and automated testing.
• Creating and executing software release test plans.
