job summary:
Fortune 500 auto parts maker located west of GREENVILLE, SC seeks a QUALITY SUPERVISOR for its manufacturing operations. The QUALITY SUPERVISOR provides quality support to assigned production operations to ensure the integrity of components and products produced, while driving quality improvement efforts in assigned areas with the goal of achieving "zero defect" performance.

responsibilities:
- Oversees integrity of product quality for assigned areas
- Responsible for Quality assigned deliverables and team performance.
- Manages Quality Operational team by providing coaching, direction, and employee accountability to areas of support.
- Optimizes Process Capability on significant characteristics through effective application to statistical analysis techniques and training of Production in Problem-Solving.
- Responsible for New Product Qualifications, and verification of changes to current product.
- Through the application of APQP, supports the external and internal customers in New Product Introduction.
