Job Description
Position TitleRadiographerPurpose & Scope:Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require ingenuity and initiative in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.Education:Graduation from an accredited program in radiologic technology is required.Experience:One year of healthcare/medical - radiology experience is preferred.Certification/Licensure:Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.BLS certification is required.Additional Hospital Information: VHC Healthxc2xae is a not-for-profit health system serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area, anchored by a 453-bed teaching hospital.
