:OverviewFairview is looking for a Radiology Aide at Fairview St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. We are known for our award-winning heart, stroke and cancer care. Imaging Technologists deliver services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. St. John's offers 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients We have outpatient access seven days a week.The Radiology Aide works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.Schedule: This is a .2FTE(16 hours worked per 2 week pay period) SEIU position. Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements
• Assists the radiologic technologist and radiologist with procedures to facilitate patient flow
• Provides appropriate patient safety measures to ensure delivery of quality patient care
• Develops films to ensure maintenance of patient flow
• Prepares room set-up to ensure availability of procedural needs
• Transports patients to maintain patient flow
• Assembles and files radiology jackets to ensure timely examination processing
• Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items

QualificationsRequired

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Requirements (must be obtained or completed within a period of time):

• Computer Skills: Basic ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (navigate in Windows, Outlook, epic EHR, etc.).
• Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co- workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection.
