Rail Yard Crew
Rail Yard Crew - operates under the supervision of the Rail Crew Foreman unloading aggregate from rail cars. This may include shoveling various aggregates, bending, lifting, cleaning cars, etc., and other duties as requested. This is physically strenuous work; you must be able to lift 75 lbs. The job may take place in various locations in North Dakota without town work required (pay per diem with out-of-town work). Work is primarily outdoors, lasting from April through December, which is seasonal, full-time, and some weekends.
Primary Job Function:
Work hours are generally 10-hour days but often exceed that during the end of the season, reaching 70-90 hours per week at times.
The Rail Crew worker must wear hearing protection and sturdy work boots.
