Primary Job Duties:Part-time and full-time position may be available.Ramp Agents are responsible for processing baggage between baggage areas in the airport facilities and aircraft, as well as receiving and dispatching aircraft.

• Loading and unloading aircraft and carts
• Stacking and un-stack baggage in aircraft
• Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment
• Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belt)
• Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags
• Escort passengers and special needs customers safely and courteously
• Ensure compliance with SkyWest and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies

Minimum Requirements:We are looking for individuals excited to take on new challenges, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Ramp Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience. To apply, you only have to meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs clearances required
• Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy bags more than 50 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Be able to work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
• Attend 4 days of Basic Station Training
• Able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Flexible to work split shifts including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
• Starting at $13.00 an hour
