Job Description

Validate all inventory transactions (PIP's, stock pulls, recalls, etc.) for timely systems input and inventory record accuracy (4M-5M CTNS.)

Schedule cycle counts, reconcile count discrepancies, and analyze cause of discrepancy with corrective action recommended.

Accurately maintains and updates locator file daily.

Coordinates customer shipments and transfers with regard to documentation, physical compliance and carrier scheduling to achieve department efficiency, on-time shipment and shipment accuracy.

Adheres to Distribution policies and procedures with regard to all shipments.

Receives phone orders for customer shipments, transfers, sample orders, recalls etc.

Traces inbound/outbound shipments as required.

Communicates transfer/shipment information with other plants, i.e. break down, arrival/ship dates, exceptions etc. as required.

Prepares all LTL shipments, i.e. documentation, physical compliance, scheduling communications, etc. to achieve maximum space utilization and order turnaround efficiency.

Receives all inbound (non-raw material) freight in a timely manner to support plant operations and in accordance with Receiving policies and procedures.

Places priorities on job duties to insure Distribution area coverage.

Perform other duties as required by department supervisor or manager.

Adhere to all local and corporate safety policies. Promote department and overall plant safety objectives.

Adhere to the ISO9001 standards to continually improve products and service to consistently meet customer requirements.

Perform Administrative duties to maintain accurate records of transactions in the system.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:





High School graduate or GED required.

Must pass Forklift Certification written and aptitude test (as per OSHA requirements).

Ability to operate material handling equipment as required in department.

Strong basic math skills.

Must have Valid Driver's License

Must have proven ability to follow written and oral directions.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel & Outlook).

May be required to come in early or stay over normal scheduled work hours.

Must understand inventory control methods and systems

Must be detailed oriented and able to keep accurate counts for inventory

1 year Distribution Manufacturing experience, preferred.
