Job Description
Walter Haverfield is a well-established law firm with a rich history of providing exceptional legal services to a diverse client base. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Associate to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of real estate finance with experience in commercial real estate lending, including reviewing and negotiating loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, asset management, and implementing workout strategies regarding distressed assets.
- Admission to the State bar in Ohio and located in the Cleveland metropolitan area.
- Exceptional academic credentials.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- Expertise in drafting, negotiating, managing, and successfully closing real estate deals.
- Ability to effectively interface with clients and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent writing, communication, and research skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
