Position Summary:
The rear-load driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck and performing assigned duties on commercial and residential routes. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers while complying with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies.
Your Role:
Operates vehicle according to Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safe Health Act), and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
Performs pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and completes paperwork.
Participate in all required company meetings, including scheduled training and safety meetings.
Notifies the Route Manager or Dispatch of customer complaints, incidents, on-site service issues, or potential safety hazards.
Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement.
Effectively use a tablet to ensure the route reconciles to the service listed.
Completely dumps containers and leaves the customer's location free of debris, with container lids closed and enclosure doors closed without blocking driveways, alleyways, or customer doors.
Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Requirements:
Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
Airbrake endorsement is preferred
Must be 21 years of age.
Acceptable driving record required.
Complete pre-employment DOT drug screening and physical and background check, including previous employment, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
