Description Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open in Spring 2024 in White Hall, AR. Operated jointly between Jefferson Regional and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, this new 87,000-square foot, 76-bed hospital, housing 40 inpatient rehabilitation beds with an additional 36 behavioral health beds, will be located just north of Pine Bluff and south of Little Rock. Responsible for greeting guests and receiving calls, determining the nature of their business, and directing them to the appropriate staff. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Able to perform a wide variety of clerical duties such as typing, filing, copying, message taking, or other duties as assigned. Facilitates follow of information through the hospital while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Works closely with the Business Development and Assessment departments in the patient assessment and admission process. Greet patients and guests upon arrival and ensure their comfort.
Demonstrates excellent guest relations in communication and cooperation, assists patients, licensed practitioners, co-workers and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
Records and routes telephone and in-person messages accurately, completely, and promptly.
Maintains an accurate record of visitors each day, personal belongings dropped off, visitation logs, etc.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of hospital emergency code response procedures with ability to calls codes through the speaker system in a correct and audible manner.
Routes incoming mail promptly and to the correct departments or individuals. Maintains awareness of highly confidential and/or important documents received at the hospital (as assigned).
Assure lobby area is clean and presentable, with appropriate beverages and snacks for patients and visitors.
Assists Assessment and other departments as required.
Offers assistance to the Business Development/Community Relations Department with respect to special projects and community involvement.
Able to maintain professionalism in a variety of stressful situations.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience in administrative role or as a student in higher education.
Proficient in use of computers.
Customer service experience or aptitude to be able to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, visitors and the general public.
Team oriented, positive attitude and takes imitative during down time.
CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment.May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital will provide inpatient rehabilitation services for adults who have experienced a loss of function or disability due to stroke, brain injury, spinal code injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic surgery and other conditions. Featuring all private rooms, the rehabilitation section of the hospital will provide intense, interdisciplinary rehabilitation therapies and medical care to improve patients\xe2\x80\x99 functional independence and help them return home. In addition, Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital\xe2\x80\x99s distinct behavioral unit will offer a continuum of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adults and seniors, including crisis stabilization for acute mental health and substance use disorders; detoxification from alcohol and drugs; and treatment for anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and many other behavioral health illnesses.
