Duties

• Plans, schedules, organizes and implements outdoor activities. Such activities include but are not limited to cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, canoeing, camping, trips, parks, ranges, mountain climbing and overnight recreational trips.
• Demonstrates techniques and instructs participants in the use of equipment.
• Coordinates with installation, county, and state officials on programs and information related to outdoor recreation and required licenses.
• Researches, plans and develops or enlarges outdoor recreation areas.

Qualifications

Experience OR a combination of experience and education* that provided the knowledge of the goals, principles, methods, and techniques of recreation programs and an understanding of the interests of individuals or groups. Completion of the requirements for a bachelor\'s degree with major study in outdoor recreation and parks; recreation management; youth, public, urban or community recreation; or special population recreation is qualifying experience.

PCS Costs

• Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government\'s interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials

• This is a pay-banded position. Pay is based off of a 40 hour work week. The hourly rate equates to $20.09 - $24.50.
• Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
• Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

Incentives and Bonuses

• Incentives may be paid.
• Up to 25% relocation, recruitment and/or retention incentive may be authorized.

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
• Eligible for 1.69% COLA
