Job Description

The Alaska Club is a network of 14 full service, family friendly health and fitness centers with gym facilities and additional amenities. The Alaska Club is seeking a candidate with strong sales experience and exceptional expertise to fill the position of Regional Director of Membership Development. The Regional Director of Membership Development will be responsible for supporting the Vice President of Membership Development and Personal Training in order to achieve/retain membership and fitness consulting sales goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, a 4-year degree preferred but not required
• At least (3) years of experience in the service industry with (1) or more years in a sales management position preferred but not required
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including experience with formatting information and reporting
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to articulate complex business problems and design simple solutions for all levels of employees and management
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Support the VP of Membership Development and Personal Training in his everyday roles and responsibilities
• Develops and implements purposeful outside selling procedures and standards thereby enhancing membership growth
• Meet or exceed departmental sales goals for new memberships, fitness consulting and other add-ons
• Enhance Membership Coordinator, Membership Sales Manager and Fitness Consultants accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions, answer technical and procedural questions, teaching improved processes and mentoring team members
• Conduct monthly sales audits and monitor adherence to The Alaska club sales process as well as assist in the creation of performance action plans for improvement
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
