To oversee operations of each area, managing staff and financial performanceEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance and promotes a culture based on safety, operational excellence, innovative thinking, and high-quality customer service.
  • Foster an environment of continual learning.
  • Drive safety prevention as a personal responsibility.
  • Develop and retain a "Best in Class" team through selection, assessment, development, and recognition.
  • Ensure employee engagement and implement succession planning at the sites.
  • Responsible for reliable delivery of services at all sites according to the Service Line Delivery Model with focus on Measure, Evaluate and Continuous Improvement.
  • Ensure all sites promote and implement innovative ideas, products, systems, and methods.
  • Interact and meet with peers to share information relevant to North America Operation\'s Business.
  • Take a lead role in customer relationship management at both the plant and corporate level.
  • Drive successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and an appropriate level of confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

  • Must be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.
  • Must be knowledgeable in and comfortable with management of financial processes related to the operational unit of responsibility. These processes include budgeting, forecasting, and month to month P&L management.
Position Requirements:
  • A bachelor\'s degree is preferred.
  • Automotive (or equivalent) s experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive management experience preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing/Lean Operations experience.
  • Must be able to interact with customers and employees at all levels.
  • Extensive travel. Travel estimated at 75 to 80%.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
  • The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
