Job duties:
- The Prevention Service Coordinator will identify services to meet the needs of children and families based on specific criteria. Prevention Service Coordinator will assist the Upstate liaisons in identifying services to meet the needs of children and families based on specific criteria. The Prevention Services Coordinator will be an expert on the Departments\' service array and assist the FFPSA Program Manager with prevention service contracts for the Office of Family and Community Services.
- Manages a Upstate team of 4 Prevention Service Liaisons who accept referrals from Intake and link families to prevention services in their region.
- Manages Prevention Service contracts throughout the state of South Carolina for Child Welfare Services.
- Consults with county and regional staff on regional service array. Work closely with Operations, Wellbeing, Permanency, and safety. Work with community providers and other agencies to identify services and service gaps.
- Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duties/services as directed.
A Bachelor\'s Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.
A Master\'s degree and two (2) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.
