Purpose of Job:

The Regional Sales Manager will work as an individual contributor and will be responsible for increasing APCON\xe2\x80\x99s revenue for the Midwest Region. Sales activities will include lead generation, qualify business, demonstrate key advantages, negotiate, close of sale, follow up with customers and generate referrals for future business. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction and increase revenue.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

  • Identify, cultivate, and procure new direct and channel business sales relationships within the assigned region - Midwest
  • Assume ownership of entire sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define account strategy by highlighting APCON advantages and influencing technical decision makers
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction
  • Meet and exceeds sales objectives and sales quota
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 sales experience in highly complex software and hardware solutions
  • 3+ years outside enterprise sales experience - networking or networking security industries strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales methodology
  • Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and/or the equivalent experience
  • Consistently achieved sales goals and quotas
  • Able to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Local account knowledge of the Fortune 1,000 companies
  • Able to execute, problem solve, and exhibit creativity
Travel:
  • Frequently up to 50%, as needed to meet client and customer needs
