We specialize in a variety of childrens health issues including trauma, congenital anomalies, and common childhood illness. We have a terrific and engaged team to work with including: Physicians, Fellows, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, Critical Care Techs, and Health Unit Coordinators. We are also fortunate to have a pharmacist, respiratory therapist, and child life staff in the ED as a resource to us at all times. Our Life Flight services transport patients to our ED, which brings the most critical patients to our hospital to entrust in our care.
We work together as a team and our culture is one of excellence, positivity, comradery, and safety. Our RNs and Critical Care Techs are given extensive orientation to prepare them to succeed as an Emergency Department caregiver. The department is fast paced and therefore can be stressful at times.
