Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Float Pool RN PRN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will have the unique ability to \xe2\x80\x9cfloat\xe2\x80\x9d between several different areas across the nursing spectrum.

What you will do in this role:

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis
• Provide plan based care with a commitment to continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
• 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
• BSN is preferred

Qualifications:

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 230-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County.
