We serve a population of over 250,000 and feature two hospitals, two urgent cares, an emergent care center, outpatient services and a provider network with 19 regional locations.SummaryUnder the direction of the department manager and supervision of a Charge Nurse, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Develops and participates in the care plan of the patient. Employees in this position will not be primarily assigned to a specific unit, the expectation is to be assigned to a uit when they report to work. Population served by this position are in all age groups.Qualifications

• State of Nevada licensure as Registered Nurse
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS within 3 months of employment; completion of Basic Dysrythmia course or examination preferred.
• A minimum of one year Acute Care experience required
• Must be able to float to Emergency Observation Unit (EDO), Telemetry, Medical/Oncology, Surgical/Ortho, Rehab and Outpatient Procedures
• Willingness to float to PEDS preferred
• Must be able to Admit/Discharge as needed, and/or care for patients on above listed units
• CHEMO, EPIDURAL and/or other certifications preferred.
