Shift: Full Time Nights, rotating weekends

As a(an) Registered Nurse- Pediatric Emergency Room you can be a part of change.

Pediatric Emergency Department Information:

\xc2\xb7 Beds \xe2\x80\x93 21 beds but we can go up to 24 beds utilizing the Kangaroo Corner.

\xc2\xb7 Winter we see up to 200+ patients per day and during the summer months 80-100 patients per day.

\xc2\xb7 We have our own educator for the floor full time.

\xc2\xb7 We are working to get all staff trauma certified.

\xc2\xb7 Charge nurse for both days and nights

\xc2\xb7 Twelve hour shifts

\xc2\xb7 Supportive staff working together to remain the only children\xe2\x80\x99s hospital in the state of Nevada, to provide excellent care, and support for the families of our patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse performs the active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. May assume the role as Team Leader for part or duration of shift. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

What qualifications you will need:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certification
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
• Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required
• Current ENPC; TNCC and PCAR within one year of hire
• Current acute clinical critical care experience preferred
