REGISTERED NURSE - RN - CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at correctional facility in Decatur, AL! This position offers 2:30PM - 11PM Monday through Wednesday shifts, and 10:30PM - 7AM Thursday and Friday shifts. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of recent corrections experience, a strong focus on patient care, and feel confident in evaluations and working with a multi-disciplinary team. Extension options may be available at the end of the contract. In addition to our standard benefits, our RN professionals are preferred in a number of facilities and hospitals in the area. Hourly compensation: $56

Shift: 2:30PM - 11PM and 10:30PM - 7AM

MORE ABOUT THE REGISTERED NURSE - RN - CORRECTIONS FACILITY POSITION: * Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients and inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities

• Provide care under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician
• The ability to easily integrate into new settings
• Knowledge of various computer systems
• A desire to expand nursing skill set or varied experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE REGISTERED NURSE - RN - CORRECTIONAL FACILITY: * 1 year of corrections experience

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Active RN license in Alabama
