Job Summary

• Responsible for developing and enhancing telemedicine applications for the Avera St. Luke\xe2\x80\x99s Telehealth network. Responsible for working with physicians and their office staff in coordinating eConsult sessions. Responsible for establishing and documenting proper procedures and policies regarding eConsult consultations and training personnel involved. Responsible for addressing patient billing concerns and questions as it pertains to eConsult charges.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer\'s status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.3

Education and/or Experience

• Associate or Baccalaureate in nursing. Baccalaureate in nursing preferred.
• Prior experience related to eConsultis desirable. Prior work with videoconferencing equipment is desirable.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current South Dakota Nursing License (RN) and valid South Dakota driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is required.
• This job position requires that a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is maintained, a seat belt is worn at all time while driving and that the employee remains insurable under Avera\xe2\x80\x99s vehicle insurance policy.
• If the employee becomes uninsurable by the company Avera uses for automobile coverage because of a revoked, suspended or restricted, receive moving violations, fail to use a seat belt or receive other infractions (e.g., driving under the influence) employee may no longer meet the essential functions of this job and may be terminated from employment.
• Additionally, it is recommended that employees carry sufficient automobile liability and physical damage insurance to adequately protect their financial and property interests.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
