Job Description
A cancer treatment clinic in the Round Rock location of Austin is looking to bring on three Infusion Registered Nurse\'s to join their team. This person will be responsible for facilitating clinical operations and patient care. This person will need to provide professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of Texas Oncology\'s patients. They will need to be able to adhere to policies and procedures addressing the care outlines in infusion and nursing services and state law regulations. They will manage patients\' medication, know what side effects to look for, and how to appropriately collaborate with staff. This person will manage vascular access devices, evaluate progress towards goals, and make recommendations to physicians for changes based on the patients\' needs.
Chemotherapy Infusion Experience
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate
2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Expert in starting IV\'s
Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
Background working in ambulatory or triage setting
Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in Texas
BLS Certification
