St. Lukexe2x80x99s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer programxe2x80x99s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.What you can expect from this roleWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to support our multidisciplinary urologic and gynecologic oncology clinics in Boise. As a float RN, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical care, patient education, and emotional support to individuals navigating their cancer journey. • Full-time: 4 days a week x 9-hour shifts

• Some flexibility with FTE (0.8-1.0 FTE) *letxe2x80x99s chat!
• No nights, weekends, or St. Lukexe2x80x99s observed holidays!
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay (ex. OCN)
• Provide pre- and post-operative support, chemotherapy coordination, symptom management, patient education, and emotional support, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless and compassionate care delivery
• Urologic Oncology Clinic: houses the only urology navigated biopsy system in Idaho xe2x80x93 we perform in clinic procedures and bladder instill chemotherapy!

• Work closely with the provider during procedures, including cystoscopies, uro nav prostate biopsies, intravesical chemotherapy/biotherapy, etc.
• Gynecologic Oncology Clinic: assist with procedures such as colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, LEEP, hysteroscopies, minimally invasive surgeries (e.g., laparoscopy, robotic surgery), hysterectomies, and tumor debulking, as well as intraperitoneal chemotherapy and brachytherapy coordination
• Support the primary nurse and triage areas as needed
• Offers variety in your workday

Minimum qualifications for this role

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + yearsxe2x80x99 RN experience preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
• Preferred: oncology, urology, gynecology, and/or surgical experience
