POSITION SUMMARYThe Medicare Client Strategy Senior Manager is accountable for and provides leadership to a team of Medicare Strategists and is responsible for contributing to and driving the team strategy to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the support model. S/he provides leadership and strategic direction in executing product adoption and sales support in collaboration with account teams to support our Medicare clients. This client-facing position will take a lead role in supporting current clients. This involves using extensive Medicare knowledge to support product development, manage work plans, perform data analysis, as well as work cross functionally with research, sales and account management, client and patient services and other functional areas as needed. This position serves as the primary contact for all Medicare strategic initiatives and market development. The Medicare Client Strategy Senior Manager plays a critical role in the interpretation of all CMS guidance and regulation, client retention, and overall client satisfaction within the Medicare line of business.In addition, the individual will interface with health plan clients to achieve Star Ratings targets for their Medicare line of business.This position requires the following core skills to be successful:Executive PresenceMedicare ExpertiseCommunicationRelationship ManagementStrong strategic thinker and self-starterMedicare ExpertiseMaster level presentation skillsAbility to work in a dynamic business environmentAbility to work well with all types of management stylesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMentor, coach, and lead a team.Coordinate with cross functional partners to provide support for sales and account management and Express Scripts clients.Assist Account teams in presenting upsell or renewal related to the applicable Medicare products.Develop selling strategies that help differentiate Express Scripts in the marketplace and align our interest with those of our clients and their members.Deliver market message and training to account teams and clients about market opportunities.Demonstrate leadership within the team and department to help motivate and grow employees.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in related field5-7 years of related experienceStrong knowledge of the PBM industry and Government Regulated Programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, MarketplaceStrong communication skills, including presentations and documentationAdvanced problem solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituenciesDemonstrated ability to research, analyze, handle multiple projects and clients at once and prioritize to meet deadlines requiredAbility to work towards specific deliverables within an environment of tight deadlinesExcellent customer service skills requiredStrong ability to lead, influence, and executeIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
