You should have grade development experience, preferably with flat rolled steel or SBQ. strong communication skills and a commitment to team dynamic are a must for this role. responsibilities:
- Oversee product metallurgy
- Develop new grades with customers and with internal team
- Oversee R&D and be the face of company to new customers
- Develop Product Metallurgists and mentor them on career and skillset growth
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and practices.
- MS or PhD Metallurgical Engineering or similar
- Experience developing new grades important
- Flat rolled steel or SBQ experience preferred
- strong communication skills required, as well as a commitment to team dynamic
