The R&D Department includes over 55 years of academic and industry experience in a range of chemistry fields, not limited to medicinal chemistry, organotransitional chemisty, drug discovery and formulation, organic synthesis, and analytical chemistry. The research team is participating in multi-faceted biological research, collaborating with academic institutions such as University of Wyoming and Karmanos Cancer Institute, to test the potential for specific cannabinoids and their analogs to treat cancer. CCL remains the foreground of innovation for a cannabinoid company, synergistically introducing manufacturing and research, with projects producing results in both categories. Job Summary: Assists the Research team with various small scale experiments and scale-up. Duties and Responsibilities: Checks and re-stocks consumable items in staging areas. Collects soiled glassware from glassware carts. Cleans and sterilizes glassware including beakers, flasks, tubes, bottles, cylinders, etc. Maintains inventory and levels of glassware. Prepare chemical solutions. Work under the supervision of chemists or chemical engineers. Help chemists develop new compounds and analyze compounds produced through chemical processes. Collect samples from chemical reactions and assist scientists to test for impurities and defects. Monitor chemical processes under the supervision of research scientists Extract, distill, and isolate compounds using various chemical techniques. Performs other duties as assigned.
